The Parks & Recreation Committee of Eldred Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania
The Parks and Recreation Committee of Eldred Township, Monroe County is composed of volunteers who advise and offer recommendations to the Eldred Township Board of Supervisors and make recommendations that can facilitate the best use of open green spaces in the Township area for the enjoyment of the residents.
They primarily work on issues or concerns identified by the Board of Supervisors. The committee may identify a concern or issue from the public that it deems the Board should be aware of, which is outside its scope to address. The committee does not have the power or authority to act without the support of the Board.

The Parks and Recreation Committee meets the second Tuesday, April through November, at 7 PM at the Eldred Township Municipal Building. These meetings are open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. Public comment is encouraged on agenda topics. Discussion regarding matters that are not meeting agenda related will be limited to 3 minutes or submitted in writing to be reviewed for inclusion in the following public scheduled meeting agenda. Non-agenda item speaking time is limited, to ensure that the planned agenda items and associated times are achieved. Please be aware, the Board of Supervisors, reviews and approves all committee agenda’s.
